My husband and I were married July of 2016 in San Francisco and we had the privilege of working with Bri Childs as our wedding coordinator. Bri is the owner of Desert Child Events and as the website states, she took care of every little detail imaginable! We were not sure what to expect from a wedding planner, but Bri was professional and extremely personable. In the beginning, Bri met with us in person for a quick “ get to know you” session, which my husband and I really appreciated. She also met us at the wedding venue to plan for set up and she made sure to meet our caterers. My husband and I felt so comfortable with Bri that we even invited her to the rehearsal dinner because she got along so well with our families. Bri checked in with us throughout the entire wedding process. All of our vendors were provided a time line so everyone was on the same page. On the day of the wedding, Bri was there to make sure set up was done and the wedding was running smoothly. At the end of the reception, Bri worked with the caterers to have everything packed up and ready to take home. She helped make our wedding stress free and the best day! We highly recommend Desert Child Events and we are so thankful that we had Bri in charge of making our special day a success!
Bri was an absolute dream to work with! From our initial correspondence my husband and I knew that hiring Bri to be our day of coordinator was going to be the best decision that we made during the planning process. Both my husband and I work in the hospitality and event planning industry so we knew we needed someone who we could trust, someone who could handle any situation that was thrown at her and most importantly someone who could put up with our rowdy family and friends. We have a lot of friends who work in the hospitality industry and aren’t afraid to tell you if you are doing something wrong or to even jump in to help if necessary. There was no need for anyone to help and in fact, we haven’t stopped receiving compliments from our friends about how amazing and on top of everything she was! Any question that was thrown at Bri either by us, another vendor or family and friends she knew the answer right away and even if she didn’t, she found out! She found out so quickly that you didn’t even have time to realize that she had to go and find the answer. Our wedding day got off to a rocky start due to our photographer being 30 minutes late and it really set everything back. Bri was somehow able to make up for the lost time without it feeling like we were rushing through aspects of our special day and for this, amongst many other reasons we are extremely grateful and thankful. Although we knew from the start that hiring Bri was going to be one of the best decisions we made, she constantly amazed us and went above and beyond and truly allowed us to be in the moment and enjoy our day to the fullest. ANYONE who hires her will NOT regret it.
